Responsibilities

  • Conduct or schedule stakeholder research to support corporate initiatives. Collect and maintain a wide range of data pertaining to customers, injured workers, prospects, market conditions, sales results, market share, profitability, and marketing effectiveness. Target issues where research and analysis would be beneficial. Provide expertise in determining necessity, scope, requirements, methodology, format, sources, and estimated costs for research. Analyze, interpret, summarize, and report findings and conclusions with recommendations to SAIF management.
  • When necessary, solicit and evaluate suitable research firms to assist SAIF in obtaining general and specific market research data for ongoing product development and enhancement.
  • Develop and model new marketing concepts and products to support strategic growth. Contribute to the creation of packaging, advertising, and distribution strategies aimed at achieving targeted sales and profitability. Prepare and maintain point-of-sale materials and other marketing tools to effectively support sales initiatives.
  • Develop tools and analytical processes to gather and convert data into management reports for monitoring, trending, and evaluating operational performance.
  • Monitor divisional error reports to ensure accuracy of sales and retention data. Collaborate with business partners to resolve data discrepancies and enhance accuracy of data and reports for future utilization.
  • Act as a technical consultant for business partners with data needs related to marketing, groups, and agency. Assist in developing marketing and operational plans and advising management on research development and market trends and issues. Provide customer/non-customer lists, segmentation data, group product viability analysis, and other information as needed. Conduct specific projects and participate on project teams to provide technical input for marketing related issues. Assist in developing and presenting training on marketing related developments.
  • Prepare and distribute sales and retention reports, including data extraction and analysis, maintenance of marketing reporting databases, and development of ad hoc management reports as necessary. Analyze trends in sales and retention patterns. Participate in the development of annual corporate sales and retention goals.
  • Ensure the timely production of all commission payments. Answer all questions related to commissions and notify agents of commission overpayments due back to SAIF with follow-up per the commission collection guidelines.
  • Explore diverse perspectives and consistently behave sensitively toward differences in cultural norms, expectations, and ways of communicating. Work effectively with others who have different perspectives, backgrounds, and/or work styles.

The following qualifications are recommended:

  • Five or more years of market analysis or research experience in an insurance services marketing environment, including strong experience using analytical tools.
  • Workersโ€™ compensation insurance experience
  • A bachelorโ€™s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Other combinations of skills and experience may be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

Typical hiring range:โ€โ€โ€Ž โ€Ž$91,507โ€โ€โ€Ž โ€Ž-โ€โ€โ€Ž โ€Ž$107,655.โ€โ€โ€Ž โ€ŽThe pay range for this position is annually based on a full-time schedule. Actual compensation will be determinedย using factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications & education.ย
