Marketing Analyst

Williams Distributing Co. & Shoemaker Inc. Divisions of Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc. are seeking bright people who lean into challenges to join the team. The Marketing Analyst provides support to Daikin’s commercial and residential Marketing and Communications team. Will be responsible for collecting information, writing content, and preparing formal product communications, case studies, and other company and product-related communications that will promote the use of Daikin, Goodman, and Amana brand products and technology in the North American HVAC marketplace. Core competencies include an understanding of HVAC markets, applications, and products with the ability to educate the targeted reader clearly and creatively. Ensure that all business product application activities are closely aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals. 

Position Responsibilities may include: 

  • Work with the Marketing team, Product Marketing, Senior Management, and Legal Counsel to assure the accuracy and accountability of many different types of communications. 
  • Work with Product Management and Technical Services teams to communicate new or updated products to internal employees and distribution partners. 
  • Prepare, post, monitor, and provide analytics for product-related organic social media content. 
  • Use the Hubspot platform for the distribution of company and product communications and email campaigns with analytics provided to content owners. 
  • Prepare, distribute, and provide analytics for brand and product-specific newsletters supported by Product Management and Sales. 
  • Work with Senior Management, Sales, and Product Management to promote the company and its products with press releases, case studies, and product overviews. 
  • Work with trade publications to schedule print and digital ad placements and editors to promote company information, brands, products, and case studies. 
  • Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs. 
  • Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills 
  • Able to interact effectively with customers, consultants, and internal personnel, including coworkers, senior management, and legal counsel 
  • Ability to apply good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity on the job. 

Competencies:

Experience:

  • 0-4 years’ experience preferred in related marketing or communications field 

Education/Certification: 

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing or related field preferred. Technical/hands-on equivalency will be considered.
