Brown & Brown is looking for a full-time Pharmacy Financial AnalystΒ to join their growing team. Brown & Brown is already an industry leader in prescription drug benefit savings and analytics. YouΒ will join a talented team of pharmacists, actuaries, data engineers and experienced pharmacy benefit client engagement managers. You will bring strong industry knowledge and will serve as a trusted business partner to your internal partners and Brown & Brown customers. A successful candidate is a team player who is creative, organized, detailed oriented, proactive and has strong experience in working in pharmacy benefit analytics.

The Pharmacy Financial AnalystΒ will work on all aspects of financial product and service delivery including RFP/procurement projects, renewals, market-check analysis, and financial analytics & reporting.

Your Impact

  • Use proprietary financial analytic tools as well as excel to dive deeply into client pharmacy spend and underlying drivers of cost
  • Assist with the development of methodologies, analytics, and outcomes assessments using output from our PharmaLogicTM system
  • Manage all financial aspects of the internal RFP/procurement and market-check process for Brown & Brown clients which includes gathering and analyzing necessary incumbent data, financial evaluation and assessment of PBM RFP responses, working with online procurement tool, and the creation of summary reports, financial analysis and presentations
  • Actively assist and support PBM contract reviews and PBM contract negotiations; including financial modeling and review of language & terms
  • Assist with client presentations and reporting, including the evaluation of client utilization, trends and key findings within the pharmacy benefit
  • Manage, mentor and train a team of financial analysts
  • Peer review of RFP evaluations
  • Manage all project timelines within the financial team to ensure timely completion
  • Work with other internal teams to strategize and improve system and process efficiencies
  • Assist with the training of all new employees on financial projects and financial evaluations

Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance and/or similar discipline with analytic base
  • 2-4 years’ experience in Pharmacy Benefit analytic consulting
  • Strong experience in MS Office and/or MS Excel
  • Knowledge of both Pharmacy and Medical data
  • Experience with Tableau or a similar business intelligence package
  • Experience in MS access or understanding of relational databases

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off and paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $109,400 - $175,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Pay Range:

109400 - 175000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
