Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in manufacturing construction chemicals and building materials β€” including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. We are currently seeking a Product Master Data Specialist to join our Corporate team. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate product master data within our ERP systems and ensuring alignment with corporate product management standards. The role serves as the U.S. point of contact for the global Product Master function and collaborates closely with local and corporate teams to ensure consistency, compliance, and data integrity across all product-related processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update product master data within the ERP system, including units of measure, accounting configurations, barcodes, and related data elements.
  • Support subsidiary process owners in maintaining accurate product records such as price lists and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) configurations.
  • Ensure local product data management practices are compliant with corporate standards and global product development processes.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Product Master team to align U.S. product master data with corporate guidelines.
  • Serve as the primary contact for U.S. product data governance, addressing requests, updates, and system-related changes.
  • Partner with departments such as Accounting, Operations, Sales, and IT to ensure consistent and accurate product information across systems.
  • Participate in product data audits and improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all MAPEI policies, safety rules, and work procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in product data management, master data governance, or ERP administration (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and product configuration processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and data validation skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is a plus.
