DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Independently research, analyze, and interpret operational and claims data to identify trends, opportunities, performance gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics to support decision-making and monitor progress toward strategic goals.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership based on data-driven analysis.
- Evaluate and analyze claims procedures and workflows to identify inefficiencies, recommend process enhancements, and implement best practices.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve customer service.
- Document and standardize processes to ensure consistency and compliance across the department.
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope delivering actionable insights and providing subject matter expertise.
- Prepare business cases, project plans, and status reports for stakeholders.
- Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare training materials, deliver presentations, and collaborate with training staff to develop course content that supports operational excellence.
- Partner with management to identify skill gaps and create targeted learning solutions.
- Initiate and conduct periodic audits of closed claims files and other operational areas to ensure compliance, process effectiveness, and provide insights that support continuous improvement and training opportunities.

- Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.

QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Ā
- Requires:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field and coursework in analytics or data analysis; or
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management or other related field, minimum 5 years property and casualty experience and advanced excel/database skills; or
- Minimum 10 years business analyst experience and/or relevant insurance experience and advanced Excel / database skills.
- BA 101 Certification course required or completed within one year of hire.

Language Skills:
Must be able to read, analyze and interpret procedures, regulations, instructions, manuals and other documents as required. Excellent telephone, public relations and oral/written communication skills are required.

Reasoning Skills:
Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:
Must possess advanced Excel and database skills and be proficient or have demonstrated aptitude with data analytics, reporting and claims systems. Experience with SQL preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to operate in a normal office environment with occasional travel necessary to visit office locations, conduct investigations, and attend conference/training classes and meetings. The employee is required to sit, use hands to finger, handle controls, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, lift and move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision requirements by this job include close vision.
