As a Senior Business AnalystΒ with EPCOR you will be responsible for SaaS product support, analysis, design, and execution of process improvements, including AMI (automated metering infrastructure) implementations. You will work closely and in-person with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, produce documentation including flowcharts and process narratives, and deliver solutions that enhance EPCORβs operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.Β This position requires extensive interaction and collaboration with various areas of the organization.Β
Key Responsibilities:
Product support: Learn and become SME in EPCORβs SaaS applications and business processes.
AMI Implementation: Analysis and execution of CIS and AMI projects, collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Requirements Gathering: Work with internal teams, including IT, operations, finance, regulatory, engineering, back-office, and customer care, to gather and document business requirements for internal process improvements, best practices, and SaaS support.
SaaS Testing: Participate in the development and implementation of testing strategies for SaaS solutions related to CIS and AMI, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensure high-quality delivery by collaborating with vendors, technical teams, and end users.Β Documentation of current and future states based on EPCOR business cases and requirements.
Data Analysis: Analyze data related to EPCORβs business processes, meter performance, and customer behavior to identify trends and provide actionable insights for decision-making.Β Minimum intermediate Excel skills required, e.g., vlookups, pivot tables, and formula usage.
Project Coordination: Assist in the coordination of project timelines and resources, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.Β The ability to create and communicate a gantt chart is required.
Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals, requirements, and progress.Β Extensive direct interviews of internal resources to interrogate processes is required.Β
Training and Documentation: Assist in the creation of training materials and training sessions for staff on new processes and process improvements, ensuring smooth adoption and compliance.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements related to EPCORβs business and propose solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in process documentation using Visio and writing process narratives.
Proven experience in SaaS application testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and functional testing.
Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
An inquisitive nature that seeks to understand how and why, and is able to identify efficiency gaps and risks and recommend improvements.
Project experience, particularly in the implementation of technology solutions in a utility environment.Β The ability to work as part of a project team and be able to support the overall initiative.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to water utilities and AMI is a plus.
