Senior Business Analyst, IRT

At YPrime, we help our clients in the pharma and biotech industries to collect data from patients using mobile devices, assign patients to study treatment groups, and dispense clinical trial drugs and supplies using web apps.  We’re supporting life-altering research, one project at a time.

YPrime’s Product team is searching for a Senior Business Analyst. The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in supporting and contributing to the ongoing development of YPrime’s IRT product. 

Here’s what we need from you: 

• 2-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or related role
• 2+ years of IRT experience
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to think critically to solve complex problems
• Effective time and priority management skills

Here are some more details about the job: 

• You'll gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
• You'll create direct channels of communication between product management and development teams.
• You'll work within an Agile, Business-Driven Development team to create detailed user stories.
• You'll participate in functional and user acceptance testing to ensure alignment with business needs.
• You'll maintain knowledge of industry trends and provide feedback on released products and features.
• You'll continually update feature files to account for all positive and negative scenarios.
• You'll facilitate and manage “Three Amigo’s” meetings for collaborative requirement analysis.
• You'll analyze user requirements and provide detailed documentation for business processes.
• You'll collaborate closely with product management and development teams to ensure clear communication.
• You'll work closely with Product Owner to clarify requirements with stakeholders.
• You'll understand complex business use cases and communicate requirements to the development team to create unique solutions to unique problems.
• You'll conduct competitive analysis and regularly review competitor strategies.
• You'll maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and incorporate findings into requirements.
• You'll develop and maintain comprehensive feature files at the application level, ensuring thorough coverage of scenarios
• You'll create direct channels of communication between product management and development teams. 
• You'll mentor junior analysts in Agile and BDD practices, fostering best practices within the team. 

Have these things too? Even better! 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, a related field, or an equivalent amount of related working experience.
• Knowledge of BDD tools like Cucumber, Gherkin, or related technologies.
• Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and “Given When Then” testing processes.
