As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our transportation operations by creating innovative labor planning strategies that support hundreds of fulfillment centers across the United States.

Key job responsibilities
Develop Strategic Labor Planning Models: Create and enhance predictive workforce planning tools using advanced analytics platforms
Drive Operational Optimization: Design and implement data-driven strategies to maximize resource allocation and operational efficiency
Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with Operations, Finance, Recruiting, and HR to develop comprehensive workforce solutions
Implement Innovative Technologies: Leverage analytical tools to automate and improve labor scheduling processes
Generate Actionable Insights: Analyze complex data sets and communicate findings to leadership through comprehensive reports and presentations

About the team
We are a collaborative group of strategic planners dedicated to optimizing Amazon's transportation workforce. Our team translates business signals, technological advancements, and operational needs into comprehensive planning frameworks that drive efficiency and support our operational teams' success.
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- 5+ years of business or financial analysis, product costing, procurement, or a quantitative role experience
- MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
