Clean Harbors is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to support the Sales Operations function. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining reporting, analytics, and forecasting models using SQL, Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and other internal tools. The Senior Business Data Analyst will partner closely with Sales Operations, Sales, IT, and Finance to identify performance gaps, generate insights, and provide data-driven recommendations that support strategic decision-making and revenue growth.

This role includes continuous development of sales performance metrics, creation of interactive dashboards, enhancement of pipeline and revenue forecasting, and application of statistical modeling to optimize sales strategy. The analyst will also support Sales leadership with a wide range of ad-hoc analytical needs.

Use SQL, Python, Excel (pivot tables, Power Pivot, macros, large datasets), Tableau, and Power BI to assess sales performance and KPIs.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, forecasting models, and statistical analyses based on business requirements.
Manage and respond to ad-hoc analytical requests from business leaders.
Validate and cleanse data, identifying issues and recommending corrective actions.
Communicate insights and improvement opportunities to senior leadership.
Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive and proprietary information.
Bachelorβs degree in Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience programming with SQL.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Pivot, macros, large datasets).
Power BI experience preferred, Tableau and Salesforce experience a plus.
Knowledge of data visualization, analytics methodologies, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques.
Proven success supporting business partners in a collaborative environment.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and Salesforce preferred.
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Superior analytical and problemβsolving ability with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects with varying complexity and timelines.
