What you’ll do

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of Senior Data Analyst at our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for driving advancements in data analytics, automation, and generative AI within our internal audit function.Β 

  • Support and drive strategic initiatives focused on data analytics, automation, and GenAI integration.

  • Develop and implement automation solutions to improve audit processes and operational efficiency, leveraging tools such as Power Automate and KNIME.

  • Support the development of reusable analytics assets and automation workflows to streamline audit procedures.

  • Utilize SQL, Python, and Azure Synapse to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets for audit and risk assessment purposes.

  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using PowerBI to communicate findings to stakeholders.

  • Apply Generative AI techniques to enhance audit insights, reporting, and decision-making capabilities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation through advanced analytics and AI technologies.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in GenAI to continuously enhance internal audit capabilities. E.g. utilizing AI Agent to generate risk and control matrix.

What you bringΒ 

  • Post-secondary education in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, PowerBI, Azure Synapse, Power Automate, and KNIME.

  • Experience with Generative AI models and frameworks, including prompt engineering and integration into business processes.

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, internal audit, or related fields with a focus on automation and AI.

  • Familiarity with auditing standards (e.g., COSO), risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000), and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX).

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and solve problems using data-driven approaches.

Our typical hiring range is between $64,000.00 and $106,000.00 CAD Annual. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
