ResponsibilitiesΒ
- A key Finance team member responsible for the revenue and gross margin forecast which is communicated to the executive and senior leadership teams on a weekly basis
- Prepare and assist in performing large deal financial analyses and working with sales to meet both company and customer objectives, making recommendations on deal structure, discounting, etc as they relate to the current quarter and future quarter sales opportunities
- Recommend assumptions and develop models for the annual plan with a 3 year horizon for bookings, revenue and margin
Work with the business intelligence team to craft, test and roll-out enhanced business reporting for the forecasting process as we shift to a highly automated reporting environment
- Create standard bookings and revenue reporting and enable flexibility for users to modify on demand
- Create, test and implement metrics for funnel to closed sales transaction, discounting trends and other sales metrics
- Simplify and improve processes and data availability
- Assist in ad hoc projects such as M&A activities, sales simplification and other cross functional or cross finance initiatives
- Excellent excel skills including building and documentation of complex models, Tableau or Power BI power user with ability to develop reports, dashboards and metrics
- Ability to communicate financial concepts and models to sales and other non-finance functions. Flexible, able to deal with new challenges daily and grasp business concepts

QualificationsΒ
- Any ERP experience (e.g. SAP) is an asset
- Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office
- Any analytics tools experience, such as Tableau Software
- A dedication to excellence, collaboration, and an ability to drive and handle change
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize deadlines on an ongoing basis
- Strong, validated experience in leading, mentoring, and growing a multifaceted finance group
- Excellent interpersonal relationship, written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical skills to identify, assess and conclude on sophisticated revenue arrangements

ExperienceΒ
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- CPA designation required
- Ideal candidate will have experience in a public accounting firm, internal finance group in tech or another industry
