Financial Analyst
Description

The Junior Finance Associate will provide analytical support to their designated region. This person will be working closely with our Operations and Non-OperationsΒ  Market Leads to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and procurement. This is a key position that will interact with team members at all levels, requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent computer skills, and exceptional problem-solving skills.Β 



Responsibilities
  • Maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning
  • Support reporting and analysis related to monthly variance, budget and quarterly financial metrics
  • Review P&L for variances and advise operations on opportunities for improvementΒ 
  • Maintain and report monthly and quarterly variance and operating financial metrics
  • Operational expense tracking against PO’s.Β 
  • Purchase Order Management:
    • Accurately enter, review, and issue recurring, blanket purchase orders (BPOs) to suppliers for various facilities within the corporate real estate portfolio.
    • Ensure blanket purchase orders align with subcontract compensation documents.Β 
  • Payment Activities & Vendor Relations:
    • Own the purchase-to-payment process for the account, ensuring seamless workflow from PO issuance to invoice processing and payment.
    • Work proactively with vendors to resolve any invoicing discrepancies or payment issues.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is requiredΒ 
  • 2-5 years of experience in finance and accounting is required
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office products
  • Ability to present financial data concisely, utilizing visualizations when necessaryΒ 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skillsΒ 
  • Ability to prioritize projects and execute and deliver key objectives in a timely manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to take direction from supervisors and aggressively contribute to departmental discussions pertaining to problem-solvingΒ
