DescriptionThe Junior Finance Associate will provide analytical support to their designated region. This person will be working closely with our Operations and Non-OperationsΒ Market Leads to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and procurement. This is a key position that will interact with team members at all levels, requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent computer skills, and exceptional problem-solving skills.Β
Responsibilities
- Maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning
- Support reporting and analysis related to monthly variance, budget and quarterly financial metrics
- Review P&L for variances and advise operations on opportunities for improvementΒ
- Maintain and report monthly and quarterly variance and operating financial metrics
- Operational expense tracking against POβs.Β
- Purchase Order Management:
- Accurately enter, review, and issue recurring, blanket purchase orders (BPOs) to suppliers for various facilities within the corporate real estate portfolio.
- Ensure blanket purchase orders align with subcontract compensation documents.Β
- Payment Activities & Vendor Relations:
- Own the purchase-to-payment process for the account, ensuring seamless workflow from PO issuance to invoice processing and payment.
- Work proactively with vendors to resolve any invoicing discrepancies or payment issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is requiredΒ
- 2-5 years of experience in finance and accounting is required
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office products
- Ability to present financial data concisely, utilizing visualizations when necessaryΒ
- Analytical and problem-solving skillsΒ
- Ability to prioritize projects and execute and deliver key objectives in a timely manner
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to take direction from supervisors and aggressively contribute to departmental discussions pertaining to problem-solvingΒ
