What you will you be doing in this role:

The Senior Financial Analyst will play an integral role in the month-end general ledger closing process and be responsible for preparing general ledger account reconciliations and journal entries when appropriate. This individual will perform budget to actual variance analyses on a monthly basis prior to scheduled meetings with General Accounting Management. You will:

• Play a key role in the month-end close process
• Prepare both standard and non-standard journal entries to record transactions impacting the Medical Foundation.
• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Investigate budget to actual account balance fluctuations on a monthly basis
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated Financial Statements
• Assist with the preparation of annual audit schedules
• Perform accounting research and provide guidance for the recording of significant and unusual transactions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another similar relevant degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years accounting experience required, preferably within healthcare.
• Public accounting experience a plus.

Experience/Skills Sought:

Detail oriented and be able to prepare various work products from the perspective of a reviewer.

Strong computer skills, primarily in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Flexible with the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities.
