We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will support our Supply Chain Finance Team.
This will be a hybrid role that will be expected to work 3 days at our Corporate Office in Marysville, OH!Β 

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Supply Chain Finance Team. Primary responsibilities will include development of analysis to support supply chain business partners, tracking and reporting of key metrics, and execution of critical financial processes (e.g., budget, monthly financial close, forecast). Other responsibilities include ad hoc analyses and reports for the benefit of supply chain and finance leaders.Β 
The person in this role will need to be flexible and prioritize effectively, and will need to work effectively in teams and also independently.Β 

In this role you will:

  • Partner with finance and purchasing functions, based locally and off-site, to analyze financial results, develop monthly forecasts, and manage risks and opportunities;

  • Perform a key role in the monthly financial close process; including preparation of journal entries, compliance with internal controls (SOX), and analysis of significant variances for management reporting;

  • Execute key tasks in the annual Company-wide budget consolidation and analysis process;

  • Provide variance analysis for business partners to help prioritize risks and opportunities to manage against the annual operating plan;

  • Assist with recent trend reporting and scenario analysis for Senior leadership inclusive of tariff impacts, global events, and commodity fluctuations to the business

  • Provide "ground level" business knowledge and insights to enhance the effectiveness of business plans being developed;

  • Proactively find ways to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting;

  • Minimum of 3 years in finance, accounting or analytics;

  • Excel proficiency required;

  • Exhibit intellectual curiosity and ability to problem solve;

  • Financial and accounting aptitude, to analyze financial information;

  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines; strong organizational skills;

  • Possess strong communication skills both internally and externally;

  • Operate with a sense of ownership;

  • Feel comfortable with ambiguity.

Some other nice to have’s:

  • CPA and/or MBA are a plus;

  • Experience with SAP R/3, Business Warehouse and Tableau preferred.

The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $87,600.00 - $103,100.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.In addition to the determined base salary, this role is also incentive eligible under our corporate bonus programs.For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary.
