The Senior Financial Analyst oversees the client financial lifecycle, ensuring stability, satisfaction, and growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

β€’Β  Serve as primary internal client contact, providing solutions and managing relationships.
β€’Β  Maintain accurate accounting records by verifying, consolidating, and entering Journal entries to record transactions concerning assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses.
β€’Β  Investigate and resolve Financial Statement discrepancies, ensuring compliance.
β€’Β  Review month end reports, perform research, and correct errors.
β€’Β  Conduct monthly account reconciliations, promptly resolving outstanding items.
β€’Β  Analyze business and financial data, generating detailed and timely Financial Statements.
β€’Β  Deliver insights through daily, monthly and ad-hoc reports, aiding strategic decision-making.
β€’Β  Support annual tax filings with data requests, research, and adjusting journal entries.
β€’Β  Stay current with industry trends, evaluating their impact on the company and clients.
β€’Β  Use business data to analyze trends and identify process improvement initiatives.
β€’Β  Maintain clear communication channels internally and externally, aligning financial strategies with operational objectives.
β€’Β  Research and create reports to allow Emergicon and external clients to better measure efficiency and profitability.
β€’Β  Assists in Proforma review for new business or renegotiations.
β€’Β  Utilize reports to pinpoint financial patterns and forecast future performance.
β€’Β  Other job-related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

β€’Β  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
β€’Β  Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience as an accountant, auditor, or other directly related field.
β€’Β  Maintain any certification applicable to job functions.
β€’Β  Interpersonal skills: ability to effectively manage, lead, and communicate with employees.
β€’Β  Strong verbal and written communication skills.
β€’Β  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
β€’Β  Excellent time management and organizational skills.
β€’Β  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
β€’Β  Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

JOB LOCATION
This role is remote within the state of Texas only.
