Position Summary:
The Sr. Human Resources Representative/Data Analyst will provide operational and administrative support to the Human Resources team, Operations team and hourly employees in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage escalated and complex employee relations issues across the scope of the employment life cycle, while balancing business needs with employee advocacy.
- Leads on national projects and ensures proper execution of projects across the plant.
- Manages mid-level ER investigations and partners with HRBP and/or HR Manager to determine corrective disciplinary actions.
- Leads frontline recruiting efforts, including external hiring, temp conversion, onboarding and orientation
- Coach, train and mentor new hire HR Reps, skills, developmental needs, provides feedback.
- Expert knowledge of HR policies and procedures and ensure HR Representatives are aligned. Evaluate and lead/implement changes within policies, procedures and programs
- Partners with Team Leads on investigations and provides recommendation to HR Manager for corrective action.
- Oversees and acts on items from round table meetings.
Key Deliverables:
- Lead special projects working closely with HRBP and acts as Lead Partner to HRBP
- Lead I-9 and attendance program audits on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Build and maintain relationships with other Sr. HR Reps in other plants and lead HR projects
- Lead and drive all KPI/Reports on a weekly and Monthly basis including Headcount, Turnover, Demographics and any other critical HR data.
- Key Lead for External Audit Document Control and help lead 3rd party audits on a needed basis
- Attend webinars, seminars, and other training to stay up to date on laws and best practices and share knowledge with fellow HR Representatives on a quarterly basis.
- Provide support and guidance to HR Representatives, Supervisors and Managers
- Provide back-up coverage for HRBP position
- Identify and recommend appropriate interventions and/or other corrective actions needed
What you will Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or additional relevant work experience is required.
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience in a HR department with strong focus on recruiting and employee relations
- Working knowledge of HRIS system
- Previous experience in manufacturing or distribution center environment is strongly preferred;
- Ability to establish credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bi-lingual speakers preferred
- Presentation and facilitation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent computer skills including Google Suite and MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and competing demands
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate up and down the organization.
Education
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Equivalent experience in HR data, systems, or operations considered
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, HRIS administration, or data coordination
- Experience maintaining employee data in HR systems, UKG preferred (Workday, SAP, ADP, UKG, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Prior participation in HR systems projects or process improvement initiatives a plus
Technical Skills
- Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation, formulas)
- Familiarity with HR metrics and reporting concepts
- Comfortable navigating and learning new HR systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive yearly salary starting rate of $65,000 - 80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
