What You'll Doβ―Β
As a Senior Oil and Gas Data Specialist, you will be responsible for two or more Deep Sector Oil & Gas data products, contributing to the expansion of FactSet's global coverage of oil and gas assets (e.g. Β facilities, pipelines, tankers, wells, permits, and acreage positions). Your responsibilities will include collecting and integrating data from a variety of sources (e.g. financial and regulatory filings, government statistics, third-party APIs, etc.), with a specific focus on tracking asset-level operations (e.g. production, throughput, emissions, etc. ) as well as changes in ownership over time. Additional duties may be adjusted based on user feedback and business requirements. This position requires data management experience with a solid foundation in data modeling, programmatic data acquisition and processing, and designing robust data pipelines. Data specialists are also expected to stay up to date with sector developments, providing knowledgeable support to product end users by keeping up with industry news, market dynamics, and key industry players and regulatory bodies.

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.β―Β
The budgeted salary range for this position in the State of Colorado is $75,000 - $95,000.
