We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Agile methodologies, Jira, and experience in managing data warehouse implementations.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business/technical requirements for data warehouse solutions.
- Analyze and define business needs, and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and data analysis to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Serve as the Scrum Master for the Data Warehouse Implementation project, overseeing sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
- Organize and facilitate daily standups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
- Ensure Agile best practices are followed and promote a collaborative environment among cross-functional teams.
- Track progress, manage Jira boards, and ensure timely completion of tasks in accordance with sprint goals.
- Remove roadblocks and assist the team in maintaining momentum and delivering high-quality results on time.
- Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and Developers to design and implement scalable data warehouse solutions, leveraging Databricks and other modern tools.
- Monitor progress on the implementation of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data transformation tasks within the Data Warehouse.
- Use Jira to track tasks, user stories, epics, and overall sprint progress.
- Prepare and deliver project updates, reports, and dashboards to stakeholders and leadership.
- Maintain project timelines, risks, and issues in conjunction with project managers.
- Promote the adoption of best practices and encourage continuous learning and development.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in business analysis, including 3+ years in Agile environments.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator, managing sprints and leading Agile teams.
