+ years of BA Experience in IT projects. IT software/application project experience required

Review and analyze complex processes and systems, breaking them down into manageable components.

Has strong problem -solving skills - finds root causes, and not just symptoms.

Technical Proficiency
<\/div>
<\/div>
- Familiarity with enterprise software, such as Oracle and SQL Server.
<\/div><\/li>Understanding of databases (SQL), APIs, and Data Flow Diagrams.
<\/div><\/li>Not necessarily a developer, but should have a strong understanding of how IT systems work.
<\/div><\/li>Requirements Gathering Proficiency
<\/div><\/li>Strong experience in conducting stakeholder interviews and workshops.
<\/div><\/li>Skilled at writing clear, testable, functional, and non -functional requirements.
<\/div><\/li>Strong familiarity and previous experience with using Azure DevOps (TFS) for creating and managing agile items - Product backlog, Epics, Features, User Stories, Tasks, AND Test Plans and Test Cases.
<\/div><\/li>Prepare diagrams explaining the modifications so that both technical staff and executive management can visualize and understand what must be done.
<\/div><\/li>Agile/Waterfall Knowledge
<\/div><\/li>Should have previous experience in working with Agile/Scrum (including SAFe) AND Waterfall projects.
<\/div><\/li>Other required and demonstrated work skills
<\/div><\/li>Can translate tech talk to business users and business talk to developers.
<\/div><\/li>Writes clear documents and delivers strong presentations.
<\/div><\/li>Can handle pushback, negotiate priorities, and resolve conflict diplomatically.
<\/div><\/li>Experience with Business Process Modeling - using/documenting Swim Lane and Flow Chart Diagrams.
<\/div><\/li>Experience in rolling out new systems/processes and managing user adoption.
<\/div><\/li>In addition to performing system integration testing (IT Testing), assists with User Acceptance Testing.

<\/div><\/span>Requirements<\/h3>
- Agile Business Analyst; Strong understanding of Scrum concepts and methodologies
<\/div><\/li>Well -versed with Scrum and Agile, Scaled Agile, and Kanban methodologies
<\/div><\/li>Technical experience in organizing and maintaining sprint and product backlogs
<\/div><\/li>Technical experience translating client and product strategy requirements into application requirements and user stories.
<\/div><\/li>Documenting high -level Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases, and execution of test cases.
<\/div><\/li>Ability to analyze and document business and system processes.
<\/div><\/li>Prior State of VA IT Business Analyst Experience Strongly preferred
