Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic decision-making by developing, analyzing, and presenting product and customer profitability insights to executive leadership
  • Support the monthly Product and Customer P&L process, partnering with FP&A to deliver comprehensive financial packages
  • Manage New Product Development capital planning, including CAPEX justification, approval workflows, post-investment tracking, and ROI performance evaluation
  • Direct R&D capacity and Resource Planning, monitoring engineering resource utilization, project spend, and portfolio prioritization to optimize innovation investments
  • Design and govern investment performance metrics, including NPD payback periods, R&D ROI tracking, and capital efficiency KPIs for executive reporting
  • Serve as financial lead for key product categories, driving P&L optimization, margin improvement initiatives, and portfolio performance
  • Lead Quarterly Business Operations Reviews, preparing executive materials and providing financial counsel to senior management on product and R&D investment strategies
  • Direct cross-functional strategic initiatives requiring advanced financial modeling, business case development, and investment analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Knowledge:

  • Strong proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Access
  • Previous SAP and/or HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in accounting, and financial analysis
  • Flexible, self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented with strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
  • Team-oriented with ability to interact with all levels of employees in a professional and positive manner
  • Results driven individual with a track record to support
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Project management skills, organized, ability to multitask with careful attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology.
  • 5+ years' finance and accounting experience - preferably for a large corporation
  • Experience leading/managing projects highly desired
  • Experience within a global manufacturing organization with multiple reporting units preferred
