With operations in North America and customers across 30+ countries, RS is a leader in grid resilience, driven by our values of Safety, Respect, Resilience, and Teamwork.

The Opportunity

As a Strategic Marketing Analyst, you'll play a critical role in driving data-informed decisions across our commercial organization. You'll collect, analyze, and interpret sales and market data, build forecasts, and develop insights that shape strategy and execution. This is a dynamic role that blends analytics, market intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration to help RS identify growth opportunities, monitor performance, and strengthen our competitive position.

What You'll Do

  • Quantitative Strategy Development: Design and execute complex analytical projects focused on market opportunity assessment, competitive landscape analysis, and long-range trend forecasting to guide strategic planning cycles.
  • Performance Measurement and Optimization: Lead the development and maintenance of marketing attribution models and effectiveness frameworks. Utilize techniques such as A/B and multivariate testing, funnel analysis, and lifetime value (LTV) modeling to provide recommendations that optimize marketing expenditures (ROAS, CAC).
  • Data Architecture and Reporting: Serve as the subject matter expert for marketing data utilization. Write and optimize queries to extract and manipulate large datasets from enterprise systems (such as ERP, CRM) and 3rd party databases. Develop, automate, and maintain standardized executive and operational dashboards using business intelligence platforms (i.e. Power BI).
  • Market Research: Contribute to the design, collection and evaluation of market and competitor data to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning. Stay up to date with industry developments and emerging market opportunities.
  • Pricing Analysis: Analyze pricing strategies and their impact on sales volume, revenue, and profitability. Make recommendations for pricing adjustments based on market dynamics and customer behavior.
  • Customer and Market Segmentation: Perform deep customer segmentation or value-chain analysis, identifying high-value cohorts and behavioral patterns to refine targeting and personalization initiatives.
  • Insight Presentation and Cross-Functional Alignment: Distill sophisticated analytical findings into concise, compelling narratives and formal presentations for executive stakeholders. Collaborate proactively with R&D, Engineering, Sales, and Finance to ensure commercial strategy is aligned with overarching corporate objectives.

What You Bring

  • Communication Skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings, reports, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
