Tableau SQL Engineer

Location: 100% Remote – BUT > Must live in DC (or) NYC (or) Boston (or) Chicago

Client Details:

Our client, a leading Am Law 100 firm, is seeking an Analytics Engineer to develop, administer, and enhance the firm's business intelligence platforms, with a primary focus on Power BI.

This role will design and maintain intuitive dashboards, impactful visualizations, and actionable insights for both business and legal stakeholders.

It will also lead the strategic migration of Tableau and Alteryx workflows to Power BI while maintaining legacy systems during a transitional period.

Required Skills & Experience:

Advanced Power BI expertise (DAX, Power Query, RLS, shared datasets)

Strong data modeling, visualization, and performance tuning skills in large-scale environments

Experience with Tableau and Alteryx, including development and migration strategies

Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases/data lakes

Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Azure Synapse, or SQL Server integrations

Knowledge of BI governance, metadata management, and access controls

Strong business acumen, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills

5 years in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data visualization

Bachelor’s degree in computer science
