About the Role

As an Associate Financial Analyst in XiFin’s Career Development Program, you will join a dynamic finance team reporting directly to the FP&A Manager. In your day-to-day, you’ll play a critical part in supporting financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. You will collaborate cross-functionally with departments across XiFin to gather and interpret financial data, build financial models, and help drive strategic decision-making. This role is designed for early-career professionals eager to develop expertise in financial analysis, business partnering, and data-driven storytelling. You’ll gain exposure to real-world business challenges and learn how finance supports operational excellence and long-term growth. This position will be located at our offices in San Diego, CA. 

How you will make an impact:

In this role, you’ll:

• Assist in preparing and maintaining budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business planning and resource allocation
• Analyze financial performance against key metrics, identify trends, and communicate insights to functional groups and leaders
• Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including variance analysis and management reporting
• Collaborate with other departments to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure accuracy in financial projections
• Contribute to ad hoc analysis and special projects, such as scenario modeling, cost analysis, and process improvement initiatives
• Present findings in a clear, concise manner to both finance and non-finance stakeholders, helping drive informed decision-making
• Develop proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools, building a foundation for future growth in FP&A and corporate finance

Skills and experience you have: 

You don’t need to check every box. We will consider a combination of education and experience, including:

• Must have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a relevant discipline in 2026 or within the 6 months preceding June 2026 
• Located in the greater San Diego area
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel or other reporting tools

 Pay Transparency

At XiFin, we believe in pay transparency and fairness. Expected annualized salary range based on department placement as well as degree level achieved: $65,000 to $73,000 

Final compensation will be determined during the selection process and may vary accordingly.
