About the Opportunity

As an Associate, Network Data Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the completion of Provider Data updates in MVP’s internal systems accurately and efficiently, providing the best possible Provider and Member experience. The Network Data Specialist will also support regulatory initiatives and other Network functions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with various teams and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain all Provider demographic data, including the completion of Provider submitted updates, in MVP’s internal systems adhering to all State and Federal regulatory timeframes.

  • Interact with Network Providers for validation of demographic data needs.

  • Perform assigned duties related to regulatory Network projects, including but not limited to, Provider Directory reviews.

  • Completion of Annual Access & Availability audit of PCP, Physical Health and Behavioral Health Specialists

  • Review of provider record issues and system updates, follow up claims research and routing for adjustments

  • Telephonic outreach for Provider education and assistance

  • Provide insights during development of departmental process improvement reviews.

  • Work effectively and efficiently cross-departmentally with multiple MVP Business units.

  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Skills and Experience

  • Education, Licensures, & Certifications

    • Associate’s degree or high school diploma with equivalent combination of experience considered.

  • Years of Experience (Required & Preferred)

    • 1-2 years of experience preferred

  • Required Job Skills

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills

    • Excellent general computer skills with ability to work in multiple systems effectively.

    • Excellent data entry skills, with a high degree of accuracy

    • Multitasking

    • Strong Interpersonal skills

    • Strong organizational, time management, oral, written and communication skills.

    • Must have a high degree of personal initiative and ability to work independently, and in the team environment

  • Preferred Job Skills

    • Professional Relations/Network experience

    • Familiarity with Facets, sProvider, Macess

    • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of Products functionality (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
