Overview: A subsidiary to one of the world's largest branded rice food companies is looking for a Finance Analyst. The Finance Analyst role will focus on reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning and analysis activities. This position will report to and work closely with the CFO.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare and analyze month-end reporting (business segment reporting to standard GP, cost center reporting, manufacturing costs).
Prepare inputs and analyze for the quarterly forecast and annual budgeting processes, including partnering with Cost Accountant.
Review and update of actual and planned master data rates for actual, forecasting, and budgeting (Sales, Tradespend, COGS, Distribution).
Assist in the preparation of P&Ls for new sales opportunities.
Assist with various project improvement/cost analysis and other special projects (banking projects).
Assist with month-end tasks as required & back up for Accounting Manager as required.
Assist with finance team administrative tasks, as required.
Assist CFO with new cost center reporting tools, understanding and accountability of costs/budgets with cross functional business managers (Operations, Sales, Marketing).
Requirements include:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related business degree.
CPA, or working towards certification, a plus.
Experience in a process and supply chain oriented business such as agriculture, food production, manufacturing, construction, etc.
Familiarity with cost accounting.
Advanced Excel skills.
Comfort working with a variety of reporting tools and complex ERP systems (SAP, PA - Forecasting/Budgeting Tool, Add ins in Excel).
Forward thinking, analytical, critical thinking.
Big picture understanding of business from procurement to production to sales, or a strong desire to learn.
