We’re looking for a Business Analyst who’s curious, driven, and excited by problem-solving. In this role, you’ll work at the centre of people, process, and technology, turning business needs into clear requirements, shaping smart solutions, and helping customers see real value from what we build. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Engages with external stakeholders to understand changes in business needs, capture/document business requirements using brainstorming, interviews, observations, document analysis and workshops 

  • Working with clients to ensure that the overall project scope is balanced with the desired business outcomes and overall value. 

  • Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and translate them into effective requirement specifications. 

  • Formulate and define development scope and objectives based on business, stakeholder and solution requirements. 

  • Create detailed requirements and solution design documentation. 

  • Building wireframes and documentation to communicate ideas and workflows. Strong UX design skills are not needed, but an understanding of workflows is! 

  • Support the design and delivery of successful solutions – on time, within budget and according to specifications. 

  • Ability to self-organize work duties and set priorities 

  • Performs the role of project manager for small incremental projects by overseeing time, scope, and quality management 

  • Manage communication between other Helm teams and the PS dev team 

  • Perform final QA approval as well as test plan and test case development, and assist implementation specialists in deploying the completed solution. 

  • Develop training program and materials for designed solutions. 

  • Provide orientation, guidance and informal training to other employees

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Post-secondary degree / diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. 

  • BABOK certification would be an asset. 

  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and methodologies 

  • Strong understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements 

  • Communicable understanding of internet technologies: APIs, AWS 

  • Knowledge of programming languages and relational database design would be an asset 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills. 

  • Ability to deliver quality work and meet deadlines. 

  • Excellent time management skills across multiple projects. 

  • Ability to identify and serve customers, consistently achieving a high level of customer satisfaction through assessing needs, establishing goals and resolving issues. 

  • Ability to work well under pressure.

The role is remote
