Title\: Business Analyst
We are seeking a Job Solution to join our Compensation AI project team. You will play a critical role in the Definition & Design phase and the subsequent MVP development of a secure, scalable AI platform designed to modernize compensation benchmarking and analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including AI Architects and UX Designers, to transform complex compensation data requirements into actionable product backlogs. Key Responsibilities- Requirement Elicitation\: Conduct workshops to capture complex business requirements for the Compensation Assistant AI, focusing on user journeys like salary benchmarking and pay equity analysis.- Backlog Management\: Develop and maintain the Product Backlog, Business Capability Matrix (BCM), and Program Increment Plans.- Data Governance\: Define business glossaries (15-20 core terms) and metrics catalogs (10-15 core metrics) to ensure total compensation definitions remain consistent across the AI platform.- SME Collaboration\: Partner with Functional SMEs to document rule-based logic for PII detection, sample size checks, and data scope enforcement.- Stakeholder Alignment\: Facilitate communication between Mercer business sponsors and the Virtusa technology team to ensure the MVP meets the July 3rd launch milestone. Qualifications- Experience\: Approximately 12 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Manager, specifically within IT consulting.- Domain Knowledge\: Proven understanding of the Compensation Management Value Chain (benchmarking, budgeting, and employee benefits).- Technical Familiarity\: Understanding of AI-driven processes, including intent classification and semantic data layers, is highly preferred.- Agile Proficiency\: Experience working in an Agile/Pod-based delivery model with a focus on MVP delivery.- Skills\: Exceptional attention to detail and experience in documenting complex business rules and data attribution tagging
