We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Advanced to support a major application migration and modernization initiative. This role will focus on analyzing, documenting, and supporting system changes as applications are transitioned from a legacy environment to a new platform.
This is a newly created position intended to support long-term modernization efforts.

· Work Location Details:
o Fully onsite initially in Columbia, SC
o Eligible for telecommuting up to 2 days per week after 3 months, contingent upon project milestones and approval
· Candidate Residency Requirement:
o Must be a South Carolina resident
o No relocation allowed

· Elicit, analyze, and document business rules, processes, and system requirements
· Support government IT projects through business analysis and documentation
· Participate in system development life cycle (SDLC) activities
· Collaborate with technical teams during application migration and modernization
· Assist with data analysis and validation using SQL
· Support project documentation and stakeholder communication
· Use standard business analysis tools and methodologies to support project goals
· Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
o Relevant experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
· 5+ years of experience working on Government IT projects as a Business Analyst or in related roles
· 5+ years of experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business rules, processes, and requirements
· 1+ year of hands-on experience with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
· 1+ year of experience working with SQL databases
· IIBA certifications, such as:
o CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
o CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis)
· PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) certification
· 1+ year of experience using JIRA and Microsoft Office products
