Clark Capital is seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about applying technology to solve business problems to join our team. This role on our technology team will focus on understanding our business needs, articulating our systems vision in requirements, and making them a reality (in practice). This role will work across the development lifecycle to configure, test, and deploy solutions that drive business productivity and support our growth.

Technical Skills & Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with teams across the firm including Finance, Portfolio, Distribution, and Operations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop technology solutions that support their goals
  • Author and own requirements for projects of various size and complexity
  • Validate data integrity and accuracy by creating and executing complex SQL queries in Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with the development team to refine processes and enhance automation in testing.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and legal regulations and best practices and adherence to company processes and procedures
  • Confirm data consistency and quality across the data warehouse by performing rigorous testing and troubleshooting.
  • Identify, log, and track defects to resolution while maintaining detailed documentation of issues and fixes.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices and make recommendations for improvements
  • Strong understanding of investment management operations and processes
  • Knowledge of fixed income and equity instruments, trading practices, and risk measurement practices is a plus Β 
  • Experience with Snowflake, Matillion, SQL, relational data stores, business Intelligence tools, and cloud data warehousing practices is preferred
  • Experience with Python, R, Matlab or like development skills is a plus
  • PMP or related certification is a plus

Competencies for Success

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, project management, and technology solutions within the financial services industry
  • Ability to collaborate with peers of all levels across many phases of the SDLC
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Willing to work on-site in downtown Philadelphia at least 3 days a week
  • Atlassian experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team-centric and fast-paced environment
  • Experience developing and deploying software using Agile methodologies
  • Information security first mindset
