Basic Function of the Position:ย The Business Analyst provides the technical expertise needed to implement enterpriseโ€‘level solutions. This includes being a key contributor to project management efforts, identifying requirements, and analyzing systems (AMS, CRM, and other business applications) to ensure they meet complex and changing business needs while interfacing with project stakeholders. The role serves as a strategic partner to the IT department, bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. It combines analytical expertise with project management skills to drive successful IT initiatives, optimize processes, and deliver value across the organization. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problemโ€‘solver who thrives in a fastโ€‘paced, crossโ€‘functional environment.

Critical Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Analysis

  • Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements from stakeholders, translating them into actionable IT solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership and technical teams to design, implement, and optimize systems, software, and processes.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights and track project progress.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within IT operations.
  • Support data governance, security, and compliance initiatives in partnership with IT and business units.
  • Facilitate communication between IT and other departments to ensure alignment on technology projects and priorities.

Project Coordination

  • Lead or support IT projects from initiation through completion, including planning, execution, and monitoring of deliverables.
  • Develop project plans and timelines; track progress and report status to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate crossโ€‘functional teams, manage project risks, and resolve issues to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Roll out and drive adoption of new systems and processes, including training materials, user support, and change management activities.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support IT and organizational goals.
  • Contribute to IT strategy, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with vendor management and contract administration.ย 
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and professional growth within the IT team.

Work Experience:

  • 3+ yearsโ€™ experience working as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or in a similar capacity.
  • Project management knowledge and experience managing small to midโ€‘size IT projects, preferably within CRM/AMS systems and/or business system applications.
  • Experience across multiple technical disciplines, including business analysis, project management, and engineering functions.

Education/Training:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in an ITโ€‘related field preferred.

Skills/Capabilities/Technical:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to communicate effectively with both technical and business personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong knowledge of business process improvement, workflow automation, and business systems and applications.
  • Ability to work within a team, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable with requirements tools (Jira/Azure DevOps), process mapping (Visio/Lucidchart), basic reporting (Excel pivots/Power BI), and UAT support (test cases, defect tracking).
