Responsibilities:

  • Data Accuracy & Record Maintenance: Ensure all client information is entered and maintained accurately in the EMR. Maintain thorough documentation and organize both digital and physical records.

  • Order Processing: Process and fax physician orders daily; follow up on outstanding or missing documentation to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

  • Quality Assurance: Complete Level 1 quality checks on clinical documentation and verify all required paperwork is accurate, complete, and properly filed.

  • Support Clinical Operations: Oversee EMR clinical widgets, assist in special projects, and collaborate with Clinical Managers to ensure all workflows meet regulatory standards.

  • Communication: Work with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary care teams to gather essential medical histories and care documentation.

  • Customer Service & Office Flow: Answer calls promptly and courteously using standardized scripting and support professional office operations during high-volume periods.

  • Confidentiality & Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and ensure all practices align with agency policies and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous home care or medical office experience is required.

  • 1–3 years of experience in medical records or clinical administration preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, home care compliance standards, and EMR systems.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel as needed.
