Description

The CRM Data Specialist is an entry-level role responsible for maintaining accurate, organized, and reliable customer data within the company CRM. This position updates customer information, performs data cleanup, resolves record issues, and supports data requests for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service. The ideal candidate is highly detail oriented, comfortable working with structured data, and motivated to grow skills in CRM operations and data management.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain customer records in the CRM.
  • Perform routine data entry, cleanup, and record standardization tasks.
  • Identify and resolve duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate customer records.
  • Support building and updating customer profiles using internal data sources.
  • Ensure required fields are complete and meet internal data quality guidelines.
  • Assist with importing and exporting data files for various teams.
  • Support data updates and synchronization across integrated systems.
  • Report data inconsistencies or sync issues to the appropriate team members.
  • Prepare lists, reports, and basic data pulls for internal stakeholders.
  • Respond to internal requests for record updates or corrections.
  • Document routine CRM data processes as assigned.
  • Participate in ongoing training to build CRM and data management proficiency.


Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills:

  • High school diploma or associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Ability to follow structured processes and instructions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Additional requirements:

  • Ability to work with structured data comfortably.
  • Willingness to learn CRM systems and best practices.
  • Internship or coursework related to business, marketing, information systems, or data management preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred.

Work Conditions:

  • Standard office environment or remote work, depending on company practices.
  • Regular use of a computer, spreadsheet tools, and CRM software.
  • Requires extended periods of focused data review and entry.
