The Customer Care & Data Specialist is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to all members/customers, both internal and external, by meeting their needs in a timely and accurate fashion. This position is one of the first points of contact for customer inquiries. The Customer Care & Data Specialist will provide excellent customer service to members/customers via in-person, phone, and customer relationship management (CRM) software, and on occasion, in the council store. This position works cross-functionally with other departments toward achieving the council’s strategic vision, short- and long-term plans, and project work.

You Need:

  • Prior experience in customer service environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to learn how to use the GSAK database to its fullest potential (Salesforce experience preferred).
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and virtual delivery.
  • Ability to work independently.


You Will:

  • Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Sit at a desk, work on a computer, and talk on the phone for long periods of time
  • Manually operate office equipment.
  • Lift and carry at least 35 lbs.
  • Complete an annual background check.
