About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team in Sanger, CA. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in data visualization and analysis to transform complex datasets into actionable insights. This role requires proficiency in Power BI, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decision-making.


  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop and optimize data models using Power Query and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
  • Clean, transform, and prepare data from multiple sources for analysis.
  • Connect Power BI to various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, APIs, cloud platforms).
  • Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Work closely with business users to gather requirements and understand their data needs.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver solutions that meet business goals.
  • Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data refresh, report rendering, and performance.
  • Implement row-level security (RLS) and other data governance practices to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Manage user access and permissions for Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on how to use Power BI effectively.
  • Create documentation and best practices for Power BI development and usage.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, tools, and industry trends.
  • Recommend and implement new technologies and techniques to improve data analytics capabilities.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Mobile).
  • Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Understanding of ETL/data integration and data warehousing.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
  • Effective communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Microsoft Power BI certification (PL-300).
  • Experience with advanced analytics or machine learning in Power BI.
  • Python or R experience.
  • Power BI embedded or custom visuals.


Work Environment & ScheduleΒ 

  • Primarily desk-based work using a computer and phone for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move items up to 30 lbs.
  • Onsite Monday–Friday, with flexibility based on business needs.
