This organization plays a critical role in connecting suppliers and members through data-backed insights that influence purchasing decisions at scale. As a Data Analyst, youβll sit at the center of that ecosystem, turning complex pricing and market data into clear, actionable intelligence that directly impacts growth, margins, and strategic direction.
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data related to sales, pricing, market trends, supplier performance, and product metrics. This role brings strong technical and analytical expertise to ensure data accuracy and quality while transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights that support leadership, suppliers, and member organizations.
Process, validate, and publish supplier price files accurately and on schedule
Maintain clear communication between vendors and member organizations
Produce biannual purchase reports to ensure supplier and member compliance
Collect, maintain, and analyze data to support business strategy and decision-making
Collaborate cross-functionally to support team-driven goals and initiatives
Obtain new interchanges and price shops to evaluate competitive market pricing
Conduct competitive analysis across products, pricing, positioning, and quality
Develop dashboards, charts, graphs, and reports to visualize key performance metrics
Partner with suppliers and internal teams to gather, validate, and maintain interchange data
Respond to pricing inquiries from sales, operations, stores, and leadership
Review and maintain sales, gross profit, budget margin, and supplier performance reports
Perform market analysis including growth sizing, trends, and industry dynamics
Develop, track, and monitor KPIs such as growth rates, margins, and sales performance
Create and improve methodologies and tools for pricing analysis and data presentation
Participate in benchmarking initiatives to identify best-in-class performance standards
Provide sales and inventory reporting to supervisors and member organizations
Support members with pricing, product, and industry-related inquiries
Assist supervisors and executive leadership with special projects
Complete additional duties as assigned
Proven experience in data analysis, pricing analysis, or business analytics
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for varied audiences
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency in Excel and data visualization or BI tools
