Arcetyp LLC is looking for a Data Analyst. This will be onsite in Fort Knox, KY.



The U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) is implementing the Accessions Information Environment (AIE) to modernize its recruiting and processing systems. AIE aims to replace multiple legacy systems with a single, integrated platform. This initiative will enhance prospecting, processing, and future Soldier management, potentially leading to improvements in identifying and retaining qualified candidates. Join Goldbelt Glacier supporting iterative, interactive and collaborative process supporting the implementation of the AIE System using the agile software acquisition process specified in DoDI 5000.87.

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making by identifying, interpreting, and communicating insights from complex data sets. The ideal candidate will be adept at working with legacy data sources, reverse engineering undocumented systems, and translating stakeholder requirements into actionable data queries and analyses. This role is essential to supporting operational understanding, problem-solving, and informed strategic planning.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Identify opportunities where data can be used to answer questions and solve business or operational problems.
  • Explore, analyze, and interpret legacy and current data sources, including undocumented or partially documented systems.
  • Reverse engineer legacy data systems when necessary to understand data structure, content, and relationships.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and present clear, concise insights and reports that communicate findings and support decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency when gathering, processing, and analyzing data.
  • Document findings, assumptions, and methodologies to enhance institutional knowledge and support future analysis.
  • Assist in building or refining dashboards, metrics, or reporting tools that deliver ongoing value to stakeholders.


NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proven ability to explore and understand data systems with little to no documentation.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated experience in the above areas with a bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 4+ years of demonstrated experience performing at or above the listed positions requirements may be a substitution in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to successfully pass an employment background check.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working with government or military data sources.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power Bl, or similar.
