Description of Work
The Admin Officer I/Data Specialist supports the needs of the Early Education Branch by providing support for the EEB, which includes the NC Pre-K Program, the Early Educator Support and Workforce Education. The EEB Administrative Officer I/Data Specialist is responsible for researching and gathering data to inform presentations, reports; developing BK teacher licensure reports; problem-solving WORKS data system issues, reviewing and providing technical assistance on NC Pre-K KIDS and APP systems, and conducting research using various databases (BK Licensure HRMS, NC Pre-K Plan System (Plan, KIDS, APP) and others as applicable to the work expected of the EEB. This position will work in collaboration with the Data Coordinator on certain or assigned tasks as required.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Range: $45,431 - $79,504
Recruitment Range: $45,431 - $54,281

The Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE) implements quality standards for child care and increases access to families and their children across North Carolina. NCGS 110-85 requires that the State protect children in child care facilities by ensuring that these facilities provide a physically safe and healthy environment where the developmental needs of the children are met and where these children are cared for by qualified persons of good moral character.
