The Data Specialist is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in CAHPS database. The scope of this job includes ensuring data is correctly entered and organized to be used for client and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Perform the mail receipt and intake process, including opening and sorting.
Prepare paper surveys for scanning into computer database.
Execute operation of computer and scanner and maintain survey data in database in an accurate and efficient manner.
Review image processing and auditing of software to process survey results.
Identify incomplete or erroneous scans when entering survey and notify supervisor immediately.
Perform other job duties as assigned.

Required qualifications
GED or High School Diploma
At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience
Job Expectations
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
