POSITION OVERVIEW:
The position is responsible for the implementation of Direct Mail/Database Marketing programs. The position also requires the ability to extract data from a variety of sources and prepare lists for offers. S/he will be responsible for data hygiene and maintenance of accounts within various Casino systems.
This position ensures the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of guest’s records, and promotes positive guest and team member relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, vendors, etc. is expected. Regular attendance is required, and on occasion, later hours or weekend time may be required with project deadlines.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field required, and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience will be considered.
SKILL, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of three (3) years of database experience required. Business or marketing experience is highly desirable.
Applicant must possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills. Knowledge of database marketing principles and systems, analytical, financial, and operational reporting required. The applicant must be number-oriented and computer literate, with database and software skills. Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Demonstrate a high level of proficiency with MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Word. Be familiar with Structure Query Language [SQL] and Open Data Base Connectivity [ODBC] standards. Must be a team player and possess ability to work in a self-directed manner.
Must be a minimum of 21 years old and have the ability to obtain and retain a Washington State Class III Gaming License; successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Primarily indoors and may be exposed to heavy smoke and fluctuations in temperature while in and around the Casino and/or Hotel. May also, from time-to-time, be exposed to noise from slot machines, customers, music and public announcement systems, as is common in a Casino and/or Hotel environment.
