Who You Are:

Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst will provide critical financial insights and analysis to support ARM's leadership team in making data-driven business decisions. This role is responsible for analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations. In addition to analytical responsibilities, this position will support accounting and month-end activities including reconciliation and transaction processing, serving as a key bridge between operational data and financial results. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with solid accounting fundamentals and excels at both detail-oriented work and big-picture strategic thinking.


Β Financial Analysis & Reporting:

  • Perform detailed financial statement variance analysis, identifying and explaining material fluctuations in revenue, expenses, and profitability
  • Conduct comprehensive work order margin analysis by project, client, service line, and technician to identify profitability trends and improvement opportunities
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for leadership with key metrics, KPIs, and executive summaries of financial performance
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports that provide visibility into business performance
  • Analyze operational data to identify cost savings opportunities, pricing optimization, and efficiency improvements
  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes with detailed analysis and financial modeling
  • Partner with various departments and leadership to provide financial insights that drive strategic decision-making and resource allocation
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and business case evaluations for new initiatives, capital investments, and strategic projects


Β Accounting Support:

  • Support month-end close activities by ensuring timely completion of assigned reconciliations and journal entries
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts, investigating and resolving outstanding items
  • Complete AMEX and corporate card reconciliations, ensuring proper coding and approval of all transactions
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
  • Prepare and post standard monthly journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and reclassifications
  • Review month-end account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain organized documentation to support all reconciliations and journal entries for audit purposes


Β Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • 2-4 years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
  • Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • CPA candidate or pursuing CPA certification is a plus
  • Experience in service-based or multi-location businesses is preferred
