ISS is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support a proposal that we are bidding on with Space Force. ISS is seeking an individual (outlined below) that would be a part of the proposal process; full-time employment would be contingent upon winning the proposal.
Where you will be: This role is in-person at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida.
What you will do:
- Leverage knowledge of Government accounting/financial systems to move the project forward. This can include:
- Government approved accounting systems
- Appropriations
- Stages of accounting
- Leverage accounting principles to analyze financial transactions and reconcile discrepancies.
- Recommend improvements.
- Substantiate financial transactions.
- Maintain accounting controls.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active Secret clearance
- 4 years of experience in program financial analysis
- Knowledge of Government accounting/financial systems [i.e. Wide Area Work Flow, Comptroller Financial Information System (CFIS), Commanders’ Resource Information System (CRIS), FMSuites, Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System (DEAMS)]
- Bonus points: experience with Space Force.
