Key Responsibilities

As the Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing accurate financial insights and supporting decision-making across the business. Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards.

  • Identify trends, variances, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to leadership teams.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with departments to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

  • Utilize financial modeling tools and data analytic's to support strategic planning and resource allocation.

Operational Support & Collaboration:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and supply chain, to support financial initiatives and decision-making.

  • Provide guidance and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Special Projects & Continuous Improvement:

  • Assist in financial system implementations, process improvements, and ad-hoc projects as required.

  • Support initiatives that enhance reporting accuracy, streamline processes, and strengthen financial controls.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

Education & Experience:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in heavy equipment, manufacturing, or related industries.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with ERP systems is an asset.

  • Familiarity with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
