Financial Analyst
Job Description
Performs central accounting and financial analysis functions according to established procedures.

  • Inbox:  Organizes information within Business Services inbox for team members to be able to follow up on communication from vendors, contractors, Internal and external departments
  • Recycling Program:  Follows up on payment of receipts and maintains Excel spreadsheet with detail information
  • Pcard:  Processes purchases, Reconciles Pcard in TMA and is responsible for submitting Chrome River expense reports
  • Requisitions:  Processes requisitions for parts and services, standing orders and utilities. Approves the requisitions for the utilities as a backup
  • Invoices:  Processes payments associated to services, parts and leases
  • Utilities:  Records water, gas, electrical consumption in TMA
  • Billing:  Responsible for Service Request billing
  • Deposits:  Processes Account Receivables and Cash Receipts to record the revenue associated to leases
  • Leases:  Responsible for recording and tracking revenue and expenses for leases
  • Labor Redistribution:  Responsible of transferring payroll related costs to ensure labor costs are accurately reflected in the accounting records
  • Budget Revision:  Process Budget Revision to adjust M & O, negative budget balances, etc.
  • Cost Transfers:  Responsible of transferring costs to the appropriate fund
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes

  • Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution


  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills; outstanding customer service and communication skills; good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, WebTMA, Financial Transaction System, Cash Receipt System, A/R Contracting System, Tech-Buy System, P0/Encumbrance System and Cognos

 

Pay Statement
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.
