What You’ll Do:Β Β 

  • Support North America retail store P&L and capital expenditures, including the preparation of financial budgets, monthly forecasts, and reporting for various expense line itemsΒ 

  • Partner with the Accounting team on month-end close process as well as investigate general ledger entries to ensure proper codingΒ 

  • Analyze North America retail store expenses and provide commentary on variances against budget, prior forecast, and LY resultsΒ 

  • Identify opportunities to reduce expenses and increase profitability across the retail store divisionsΒ 

  • Work cross-functionally with departments to manage expense line itemsΒ 

  • Prepare and distribute store financials to Regional Directors and District Managers monthlyΒ 

  • Support the store proforma process, providing analysis on store performance and inputsΒ 

  • Work on miscellaneous ad hoc reports and requests for senior executivesΒ 

Β 

You’ll Need to Have:Β Β 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, ideally with an emphasis in finance or accountingΒ 

  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysisΒ 

  • Retail industry experienceΒ 

  • Basic accounting knowledge around preparing journal entriesΒ 

  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft ExcelΒ

  • Experience with SAP, Hyperion Essbase and Planning, and Microstrategy is a plusΒ 

  • Highest degree of accuracy with a strong attention to detailΒ 

  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-faced environmentΒ 

  • Project management skills, from initial idea through executionΒ 

  • Ability to think analytically and problem solveΒ 

  • Strong organizational skillsΒ 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsΒ
