DescriptionThe Financial Analyst creates and performs analysis on financial and operational data. Demonstrates an ability to evaluate and maintain the proper level of data integrity within the data warehouses of all available Financial Information Systems (FIS). Demonstrates computer proficiency with all systems FIS including core transaction systems, decision support system (Trendsetter), and PC financial application tools to complete internal/external work products.
Job Responsibilities

- Develops results-oriented financial analysis based on dollars, statistics, trends, and operational relationships.
- Draws valid conclusions that are supportive of management decision-making and suggests potential alternatives to conclusions.
- Assists Senior Financial Analysts with financial projects as needed.
- Identifies and communicates pitfalls/obstacles that all users of financial systems information might encounter.
- Ensures that the financial information provided is precise and satisfies all elements of consistency and completeness.
- Performs timely reviews of cost standards, relative value units, and other revenue/expense information to ensure the integrity of the financial information systems and the information that they provide.
- Generates and manipulates decisional data using Financial Information Systems.
- Identifies and accesses information needed to complete external surveys and informational requests.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
