The role you’ll contribute:

The Donor Data Specialist assists in the management of the fundraising database, including tasks such as creation and maintenance of accurate donor records, gift processing & acknowledgement and generating mailing lists for fundraising appeals and foundation communications.

The value you’ll bring to the team\:Β 

  • Verifies and enters complex constituent data from a variety of internal and external sources into the fundraising database with consistent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Monitors the integrity of existing data stored in the fundraising database; identifies and repairs incomplete or duplicate records.
  • Treats donor information with complete confidentiality and privacy per hospital and industry guidelines.
  • Maintains a deep understanding of all aspects of database management and their interrelations.
  • Provides input for the establishment of policies and procedures, standards and schedules.
  • Transfers data from a variety of sources into the database, verifying incoming data and making necessary changes to records
  • Works with Donor Systems & Analytics Team on miscellaneous tasks.
  • Assists in the training of new staff members as directed by the Director of Donor Systems & Analytics.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed\:

  • Associate OR three (3) years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • 2+ years of experience working within a complex fundraising database in a role related to the areas of focus above2/28/22Β 
  • Strong working knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT
  • Detail-oriented and capable of recording data with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work on deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously
