Role Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized **Inventory Data Specialist** to support our Inventory Control team. This is a **non-exempt, hourly role** focused on **data entry, spreadsheet accuracy, and basic inventory tasks**. The ideal candidate will bring a background in inventory or warehouse operations, have strong Excel skills, and be comfortable working primarily at a desk, with occasional light lifting or product movement.

Β This position is primarily on weekdays day shift but may occasionally require weekend hours to support business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry of inventory counts, movements and adjustments
  • Maintain records and logs related to cycle counts, inventory audits, and warehouse transactions
  • Update Excel-based reports and trackers using formulas, sorting, filtering, and formatting
  • Assist in identifying and documenting discrepancies during inventory investigations
  • Communicate with inventory and warehouse teams regarding item statuses or needed corrections
  • Perform basic physical inventory verifications and light lifting of small packages/items (typically <30 lbs)
  • Help maintain documentation standards and organization for inventory records
  • Support Inventory Control team on first shift with occasional weekend hour needs

Qualifications & Skills

  • Required:
    • 1–2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or administrative support roles
    • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry tasks
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, formatting, data entry shortcuts)
    • Strong organization skills and ability to maintain orderly records
    • Ability to lift up to ~30 lbs for minor inventory handling tasks
    • Comfortable working in an office/desk environment within a warehouse setting
    • Availability to work first shift with occasional weekend hour requirements
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Preferred / Nice to Have:
    • Spanish and English bilingual
    • Prior experience with inventory systems, WMS, or ERP platforms
    • Familiarity with cycle count or physical inventory processes
    • Previous work in logistics or warehouse environments
