Provide Oracle Discoverer and Microsoft Power BI and other maintenance system software training to users to create and review ad hoc reports. Prepare ad hoc reports, presentations, and other documents to aid in quality control and management of system data. Assist district and county managers with best management practices for quality control of data. Also proficient in the MS Office suite to provide documents as needed for reporting accomplishments, tracking trends and managing accountability charts and reports.
Assists the DOM Maintenance Program Support Manager with the Enterprise Asset Management System development and implementation. Β Coordinates with County/District Maintenance units and IT Services (ITS) in the development, updating and implementation of maintenance related applications/modules. Provides technical expertise and advice for the development, maintenance, and implementation of new applications and tools as needed. Synchronizes these activities with districts and county maintenance units for training and assurance of continuity of day to day operations. Β Provides training to other trainers as well as end users on Maintenance Applications and Modules.
Responsible for providing technical advice for the management, support, and training of maintenance information systems. Meet with maintenance managers and users to determine business requirements and software needs. Establish priorities and coordinate appropriate work in cooperation with IT Services. Identify system modifications and enhancements. Test and approve information systems changes and provide results to IT Services for implementation. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, business rules, and user documentation for maintenance information systems. Ensure documentation is current and distributed appropriately statewide.
Assists the DOM Office during inclement weather and emergency response operations as necessary. Perform other related duties as assigned.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related area and three (3) years of experience in computer system development and modification; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operatorβs license is required.
