Role and Responsibilities

Role & Responsibilities

Lead Business Analyst delivers key insights across multiple Samsung Mobile eXperience categories.ย  Including but not limited to Smart Phones, Tablets/PC and /or Smartwatch/Mobile accessories for a large National Retailer(s).ย  This individual is responsible for extracting actionable insights from multiple datasets. Delivering recommendations that improve performance across marketing and sales KPIs.ย  The candidate selected for this role will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of annual and quarterly sales, market share, and commercial spend targets.ย  They are involved in planning and executing category roadmaps to achieve pricing, promotion, shelving, and assortment objectives. The Sales Operations Manager reports to the Executive Sales Director.

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment on annual business planning with key retail customers, leveraging data analytics to inform pricing, promotional strategies, and inventory planning.
  • Develop and maintain data-driven dashboards and real-time visualizations using Power BI, Tableau to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sell-through, return rates, and market share trends.
  • Apply advanced data analytics techniques including time series forecasting (ARIMA, Prophet) and regression analysis to model critical business scenarios, forecasting demand, optimizing supply chain operations, and identifying joint business growth opportunities across Sales, Marketing, and SCM.
  • Support the identification and execution of data-informed selling strategies by analyzing historical sales trends, customer behavior, market dynamics, and promotion effectiveness.
  • Customize sell-out presentations, reports, and marketing materials using data insights tailored to the specific needs and goals of retail partners, enhancing engagement and business alignment.
  • Present clear, data-backed business recommendations and performance analyses to senior leadership and external partners, ensuring alignment on go-to-market strategies, campaign success metrics, and product launch readiness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including BI, Finance, and Sales Ops, to streamline data reporting, improve operational efficiency, and enhance decision-making with actionable analytics.

  • Build intelligent dashboards and data visualization that predict and suggest actions that will drive key KPIs
  • Proactive problem-solving and collaborative decision-making
  • Cross-functional team collaboration that achieves mutual goals with Product Management/Sales/Marketing/SCM

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mathematics, Technology, Biostatistics, Analytics, and/or related field;
  • Strong Data Analysis skills with demonstrated Data Visualization development using Tableau, Power BI, MS Excel, or similar tools
  • 3- 5+ years of experience selling small electronics (preferred) to National Retailers
