Tier One Technologies is looking for a Litigation Data Specialist in support of our U.S. Government client
This onsite 1-year contract position (with 4-year extension) will be located in Dallas, TX
SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT

Responsibilities
Provide consulting services to litigation teams in the areas of early case assessment; electronically stored information ("ESI") collection; ESI processing; review and analysis of ESI; production of ESI and other documents
Provide advice to litigation teams on the use of Technology Assisted Review (aka TAR) tools and compliance with discovery obligations, litigation decisions, trial preparation, and trial presentation
Perform a wide range of analysis and processing of electronically stored information (ESI) in support of district litigation activities Responsible for hands-on file manipulation, loading, and conversion services
Assist with the Coordination and collaboration with client agencies to ensure they collect, review, preserve, and provide to the investigative team ESI which may be used in an investigation or disclosed in discovery
Organize documents for efficient automated storage and retrieval by ensuring that ESI obtained from agencies, defendants, and third parties in discovery is properly prepared,Β processed, and loaded into discovery databases using specialized procedures and appropriate eDiscovery software
Review ESI obtained during discovery for data integrity and completeness; identify and implement corrective actions as needed
Ensure that ESI is properly gathered, reviewed and prepared for disclosure to opposing parties in discovery
Assist the LTU with the analysis of documents, data management and litigation support requirements to recommend appropriate strategies to meet discovery obligations and litigation needs in conjunction with the case team
Organize case information for efficient retrieval through automated means such as scanning, indexing, and controlling of documents/data into a database
Utilize a variety of eDiscovery and Automated Legal Support software in the collection, analysis, review and production of electronically stored information, including: NUIX, Cloud Nine Law PreDiscovery, IPRO eScanlt and Eclipse SE, LexisNexis CaseMap, TimeMap,Relativity, and similar software for the collection, analysis, processing, review, and production of eDiscovery materials
Assist the LTU along with case-team on the setup and training of IPRO Trial Director and similar software for evidence presentation at trials, hearings, mediation sessions, and other formal presentation settings
Create, convert, organize and extract information provided from a variety of sources
Create a searchable PDF portfolio using Adobe software from a large volume of paper or native files provided in discovery; Inputting and organizing paper or electronic files provided in discovery into Relativity, Eclipse SE, CaseMap or other litigation support software based on the needs of the case
Input native email files (with metadata) into an appropriate eDiscovery program, duplicating these files, and extracting relevant information from the databases to which the email files are loaded
Transfer ESI from one eDiscovery program to another
Assist case teams with the creation of hosted web sites for e-Discovery review and creation of logs, reports or summaries using the software used in the collection, analysis, review and production of eDiscovery materials (e.g., Relativity, Eclipse SE, CaseMap, TimeMap, and similar software). Conduct document searches using advanced artificial intelligence tools
Qualifications
Bachelorβs degree from an accredited College/University. 3 years of additional, directly relevant work experience (over and above the minimum experience requirements for this position) may be substituted for the Bachelorβs degree
3+ years of experience in Litigation support, Electronic Discovery (eDiscovery), and/or technology supportβpreferably within a government environment
Prior experience in law firms or leading eDiscovery vendors is also acceptable
Proven eDiscovery technical expertise in compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing information to meet project task requirements
Knowledge of information resources and file types
An understanding of the Litigation lifecycle and Electronic Discovery/document review processes, procedures and practices
Experience performing Administrator and Case Manager functions in Relativity
Experience with Relativity, Nuix, Concordance, IPRO Eclipse, Cloud Nine Law, Beyond Compare and other applicable eDiscovery software platforms
Experience with providing end-user support on all Litigation Support applications, including but not limited to assisting with end-user training
Ability to consistently deliver the highest quality work under extreme pressure and tight deadlines
Strong analytical capabilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance
Be able to pass a drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks
Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years
Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members)
